Michael Acedo
Mike joined Stanford Digital Education in September of 2021. Over the past 10 years, Mike has worked within the education space, specializing specifically in education technology. From 2018-2021 Mike served as a lead technical resource analyst/administrator at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, where he helped support the GSB Faculty Support Team in integrating instructional technology and solutions to support facilitation of in-person, hybrid, and online instruction. Prior to his work at Stanford, Mike worked for an online program management company that specialized in facilitating online programs for brick-and-mortar institutions. He specializes in end-user support, LMS administration, academic technology, technical QA, project management, and technical documentation and training.
Mike is passionate about using technology and digital tools to help make education more accessible, equitable, and transformative for people from all walks of life. He looks forward to utilizing the skills he has developed throughout his career to contribute to a mission-driven team, and make a positive impact on the next generation of students and educators.
In his free time, Mike enjoys all things outdoors (hiking, backpacking, kayaking, sailing, etc.), cooking & baking (sourdough!), and spending time with friends and family.
